Goals:
Refresh a 25 year old lobby design with a lighter, more welcoming space that included a relaxed sitting area, large brand identity, and an engaging wall display telling the story of the KGO-TV, and broadcasting, in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Design and Build:
The remodel entailed the design of new custom-built reception cabinetry and occasional tables, a new display wall with archival photos in a loose time-line (identified by vintage television set icons), and a new treatment for the 20+ foot high back wall of the atrium with the station logo. In addition, we laid new carpet and purchased new seating.
All cabinetry, wall units, logo wall, and display curation and layout, were done in-house in the station scene shop.
