Theater Stage Design

Throughout his career, Malcolm has been bringing his design and scenic construction talents to a number of bay area theatre stages.
Recent theater designs include two outdoor stages and six seasons of scenic designs for SPARC/Shakespeare In The Vineyards - in residence at the Wente, and Darcie Kent Vineyards; “A Small Fire” at Shotgun Players; These Shining Lives, The Game’s Afoot, and Anna In The Tropics for The Ross Valley Players; Jihad Jones and the Kalashnikov Babes, Macbeth, and Hamlet for Arabian Shakespeare Festival; and Berlin to Broadway at Masquers Playhouse.

Malcolm studied theater performance and set design at San Francisco State University, and performance at the Pacific Conservatory for the Performing Arts in Santa Maria, California.
